• Former RTM Deputy Moderator

• Former Secretary, RTM Legislation and Admin. Committee
• Forman Chairman, RTM Voter Redistricting Committee
• Was a Fairfield Firefighter for 45 years, was Fire Inspector for the last 9 of those years

STATEMENT
As a 70 year lifelong resident of Fairfield I have seen many changes in our town, and with all the changes we have always strived to keep the feel of a small town. Unfortunately in some respects, our town is faced with the problems of a city. I’m Running for my ninth term on the RTM to continue the good work of my colleagues, and to work on some of the pressing issues facing us all.
Of course I want to keep our school system strong and one of the best in the state. I want to assist our seniors to be able to stay in the town they love by supporting Senior Tax Relief. I want to keep taxes low while knowing full well the infrastructure projects that the town is facing in the next few years, such as school air conditioning projects, sewer system upgrades, repairs to Penfield Pavilion, and the contaminated fill pile we have been saddled with.
Having been a member of one of the town’s public safety forces for most of my adult life I am acutely aware of the needs of the public safety departments and fully support them.
Lastly our town meetings have been somewhat contentious and that is not the way the town government has been in the past. I hope that with a new term will come better understanding and cooperation from all members of the RTM to keep Fairfield the vibrant and delightful town it has always been.
